Duties and Responsibilities
Agency Education
Trainer: Bill Tarrant
Agency responsibilities of the Education instructor/coordinator
Teach, Coordinate and oversee the education related aspects of agency.
Coordinate and teach required North Central Medical Control Authority trainings.
Work with agency Management and North Central Medical Control Authority to create and develop new education initiatives.
Work with Management to devise comprehensive training programs that keep agency compliant with system, state and local medical control
standards.
Teach/coordinate regular monthly education when feasible.
Represent Houghton Lake EMS at the North Central Medical Control Authority Education meetings.
Assist Management with training and orientation of new employees.
Compile and audit employee licensures and maintain documentation on employee continuing education credits.
Maintain an instructor/coordinator license issued by the State of Michigan
