Update Cancer Insurance from $17 to $20 per individual.  Motion by Stevenson, support by Akin, to update cancer insurance reimbursement from Township from $17 to $20 per individual effective April 1, 2010.  All Yes, Motion Carried

Budget Work session on February 11, 2010 at 1:00 pm.

Budget Hearing    Motion by Stevenson, support by Hose, to adopt Resolution #2010-2-2 to hold a hearing on the 2010/2011 Roscommon Township Budget on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 6:45 pm.  All Yes, Motion Carried

Roscommon Township Board Members Salary  There are no proposals for any pay increases for any Board Members, nor has there been for the past three years.  Motion by Hose, support by Akin, to adopt Resolution #2010-2-2a:  BE IT RESOLVED that this Resolution is subject to (MCLA 41.95(3).  In a Township that does not hold an annual meeting; the salary of officers composing the Township Board shall be determined by the Township Board.  The salaries for the office of Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer and Trustee's shall remain the same as the 2007 wages.  All Yes, Motion Carried

Roscommon Township Fire Department:  Proposals for Feasibility Study of renovation of current fire hall.  Tabled until March 2, 2010.

Fraternal Order of Eagles-motion by Hose, support by Muckenthaler, to authorize Supervisor to permit with MDOT for the Annual Eagles Memorial Day Parade.  All Yes, Motion Carried

Conference Room Chairs-Chairs are +40 years old and an incident of breaking.  Motion by Hose, support by Akin, to approve purchase of 8 new conference room chairs not to exceed $1920.00.  All Yes, Motion Carried

BS&A Software for PRE audit program.  The cost is reduced as the entire county is purchasing this program.  Motion by Hose, support by Stevenson, to approve purchase of BS&A PRE Audit Program not to exceed $50.00 and $100 for annual support.  All Yes, Motion Carried

Planning Commission:  a:  2010 Michigan Assoc. of Planning.  Motion by Stevenson, support by Hose, to authorize membership to MI Assoc. of Planning for cost of $60.00

b.  Professional Review of Zoning Ordinance.   Motion by Akin, support by Muckenthaler, to authorize review and update of the Roscommon Township Zoning Ordinance #17 by Fahey, Schults, Burzych Rhoades, PLC and final review by Ronald C. Meiring, Township Attorney for a cost not to exceed $3,000.00.  All Yes, Motion Carried

c.  Planning Director Job Description.   Motion by Stevenson, support by Akin, to adopt Planning Director Job description with addition of attending Planning Commission and ZBA Hearings & Meetings.  All Yes, Motion Carried

d.   Land Use Assistant Job Description.   Motion by Stevenson, support by Hose, to adopt Land Use Assistant Job Description with addition of attending Planning Commission and ZBA Hearings and Meetings as assigned.  All Yes, Motion Carried
