Temporary Outdoor Sales
SECTION 4.34 TEMPORARY OUTDOOR USES/VENDORS
Temporary outdoor uses may be permitted in any zoning district provided that the temporary use is similar in nature to those uses that are allowed by right in the district. All others require a review by the Planning Commission and may require an approved site plan at the Commission's discretion in accordance with Section 4.24.
A Land Use Permit identifying the location, sponsoring group or individual, and the beginning and ending dates of the use must be obtained from the Land Use Officer. The Land Use Officer shall determine any necessary off-street parking requirements.
The temporary permit shall be valid for a maximum duration of 15 days, and may be renewed once for an additional 15 days. At the expiration of the permit, no additional permit may be issued for a 30 day period.
A fee will be charged for each permit or renewal. The amount of the fee shall be set by the Township Board.
Tax exempt and charitable organizations shall not be required to pay the fees if a valid tax exempt certificate is shown. All other conditions apply.
