Supervisor Randall called the meeting to order at 7:00 with Township Clerk, Barbara Stevenson,  leading the Pledge of Allegiance.

Motion by Hose, support by Akin, to amend the agenda and under New Business #5, to adopt Resolution to transfer 2009 Class C License with dance-entertainment permit.  All Yes, Motion Carried

Consent Agenda

Motion by Stevenson, support by Hose, to approve the items on the consent agenda with additions and extraction of Porath's bill for Lakeview Park.  All Yes, Motion Carried

Tax reverted property at M55 & Federal.  Motion by Stevenson, support by Muckenthaler, to act on the attorney's advice so that we can eliminate the last 2 contingencies, including review of notices to owners and quptes from the two other companies regarding contamination of the land.  All Yes, Motion Carried (Environmental Liability)

Township Hall Parking lot seal coat.  Motion by Hose, support by Muckenthaler, to authorize King's Nursery  Landscape to seal coat the parking & drive for a cost not to exceed $2,090.00.  All Yes, Motion Carried

Lakeview Park.  Motion by Stevenson, support by Akin, to authorize payment of partial payment of irrigation, pay item 1.61 in the amount of $6,600.00.  All Yes, Motion Carried

New Business

2009 tax rates.  Motion bvy Stevenson, support by Hose, to adopt Resolution #2009-1-1 to spread 3.7121 millage on the 2009 Winter Tax roll as follows:  1.2773 General Operations, .5000 Fire Operations, .4659 Fire Equipment, .9689 Fire Operating, .5000 Roads Maintenance.  All Yes, Motion Carried

Fire Dept. New Hires.   Motion by Akin, support by Muckenthaler, to hire Jenny M Cromwell as an in-training Firefighter for the Roscommon Township Fire Dept. effective 9-1-09.  All Yes, Motion Carried

Motion by Hose, support by Akin, to hire Randy Woodbury, as an in-training Firefighter for the Roscommon Township Fire Dept. effective 9-1-09.  All Yes, Motion Carried
